About OnBoard

Management interface for Linux-based Network Security Appliances

Why yet another open-source web interface for Linux devices?

Mostly because it really targets to hardware and services which are more complex and powerful than what you may find in an ADSL router — but still without the requirements of a full-stack server.

OnBoard is mainly tested on Debian GNU/Linux, but tries to depend as little as possible upon distro-specific features. It's written in Ruby on top of Sinatra, the classy web framework.

Our favorite hardware platform — the one we actually test and develop on — comes from Acrosser Technology Co. Ltd.
